Full Web Development Services for Non Profit Organizations (NPO)

We use our skills to empower other nonprofit's by implementing web solutions for their individual needs. We offer discounted web design services with recommendations for website hosting to eligible non profit organizations.

Web Design and Implementation Process

Before we begin a project, please work with us to complete the Website Planning Worksheet to help us design your site more efficiently. Development of your website will not begin until you provide us with all final content and images for each page.

A Project Page will be created online on our test server where we will post everything that requires your feedback or approval. We ask you to reply within a day so we can keep your project on time and on budget.

Every significant Web project poses unique challenges, but the overall process of developing a complex Web site generally follows these major stages:

    1. Define the Specifications
    First we analyze your goals and the project benefits. We determine your expectations and the desired site content. An overall strategy, time line and cost estimate for production is established.

    2. Site Map, Color Palette, Mock-up:
    This is the graphical representation of what the site's going to look like. We will present 1 version for the organization to select from. The client can request minor changes to be done to the selected mock-up design before finalizing.

    3. Template/Prototype:
    Create web-based template based on the approved mock-up of the page design.

    4. Content Implementation:
    Before the start of a project the client must provide all final and edited content. Content is added to the templates.

    5. Site Navigation Structure
    Code is written, and the menu or site navigation system is developed.

    6. Other Implementations:
    Any special implementations like forms.

    7. Client Review
    The site is uploaded onto our server for the client to review at any time. Revisions plus new or modified requirements are obtained from the client. Again, this is an iterative process and user feedback is again integrated into the site.

    8. Full Testing and Debugging
    After final review from the client, the site then undergoes complete testing and final revisions are incorporated. Final approval is obtained from the client. The website is submitted to the client for Alpha and Beta testing. (About one week to get feedback, and another week to make changes for each phase of testing).

    2. Beta Testing (1-week) )
      - feedback - make final changes ready to launch site.

    7. Launch the Final Website:
    The final version is uploaded to your server for site launch!

This entire process can take from three weeks to three months, depending on the complexity of the project.

Simple, concise design yet with a professional look and feel. No Flash, animated features, illustrative elements or intake forms. Budget range includes up to 5 web pages. Additional pages are $100-$150 per page. Choose images from Affordable Stock Photography and/or Stock Xchng.com.

Web Development Costs

Design costs include working html pages but not programming. Sites that require databases, special interactions, and e-commerce will need specialized programming and these features are not included in the design prices.

These prices assume that client will gather, write and proofread all content for inclusion in the web site. Maintenance of the site will be included as long as the site is under development; however, extensive and continual revisions will be charged to client at a rate of $50 per page which incurs each time we have to open and update that page.

Template Design / Main Content Areas
  • The design concepts are created with scalability and flexibility features.
  • Creative concepts will conform to your specifications including color scheme, logo, and other required images.
  • High quality website template designs consist of a full main page and full standard content page.
  • The main content areas are structured with a common layout or content template that is ready to flow text.
  • We do not create unique designs for the main content areas of each internal page.
  • All website template designs are unique and designed to your satisfaction. The design will never be resold.
Navigation Structure
  • We do not begin design concept until you provide a site map that clearly names the navigation points (Home, About Us, Services and Etc.).
Number of Web Pages
  • WebSite fees are limited to the number of web pages specified which includes the home page.
  • Additional pages may be added at an additional fee per additional page.
  • A site map must be provided by the client that specifies the name of each page before the design process begins, otherwise additional charges will apply at our standard hourly rates.
Photo/Image Selection
  • Photos are selected during the design phase of every website.
  • Photos selected from stock photo libraries of images and from Affordable Stock Photography and/or Stock Xchng.com are not included in the fees.
  • Clients can furnish photos that are high resolution, otherwise additional Photoshop fees apply.
  • Development of your pages will not begin until all images are provided.
  • Cropping photos is at our discretion.
Client Logos
  • Your company logo will be incorporated into the design.
  • The fees assume the client provides clean logo art on media or via email.
  • The fees do not include original logo design or rebuilding the logo art file.
  • Graphic logos are designed so it can be used for the web, business cards, letterheads, presentations, etc. Your logo is the first impression you give to potential clients.
  • Clients can provide their own logo or graphics in a format compatible with Adobe Illustrator (.eps, ai, png). Client images should be on a transparent background, otherwise additional Illustration fees apply.
    NOTE: GIF images are low resolution and will need to be modified. Additional Illustration fees will apply.
Furnished Content
  • The client must furnish content as a word-processed file, carefully edited and proofread.
  • Files must be named to coincide with each specific web page. Include bolded and italic type where you prefer.
  • The fees include linking from specific points within text to other internal pages or third-party websites.
  • Indicate links by underlining the linking point.
  • Development of your pages will not begin until all text for all pages is provided.
  • One round of minor text edits is permitted at the final approval stage.
  • Edits for all pages must be provided at the same time. It is important to send your final and edited text, rather than have us edit existing copy word for word. Your revised text will replace the specified web page in its entirety.
  • Additional change cycles or revisions thereafter carry additional fees at our standard hourly rates.
Production Schedule
  • The client must furnish and or approve the site map before the design process begins.
  • Logos and photos must be provided before design process begins.
  • The client must furnish final and edited content before the design process begins.
  • Designs must be approved within two (2) business days of presentation.
  • Upon final development and approval, website will be uploaded to a web server for testing.
  • Approximate Production Time: 10-20 days from approval of the site map and receipt of all furnished text and images.
  • Any delays or postponments in production may result in additional fees at our standard hourly rates.
Web Hosting
Additional charges for site hosting for sites we develop.
Domain Registration
We can help you register, transfer, or renew a domain through the web host. Additional charges may apply.
