1.	Click the Link to go to the website "Adult Learning Activities: Home Fire"
	Link: http://www.cdlponline.org/index.cfm?fu seaction=activity1&topicID=3&storyID=59

2.	Read the instructions on the web page.
3.	Click the "Listen" button to hear the story.
4.	Click the "Next" button when you are finished with the web page.
5.	Click the "PlayThe Video" button to watch the movie.
6.	Click the "Next" button when you are finished with the web page.
7.	Read the instructions to "Learn New Words".

8.	Click the "New Word" button to see and hear a word from the story.
9.	Write down those words on your own paper.
10.	Click the "Next" button when you are finished with the web page.
11.	Read the instructions to "Spell A Word".

12.	Click the "Listen" button, then type the word.
13.	Click the "Check" button to check the spelling.
14.	Click the "Next" button when you are finished with the web page.
15.	Read the instructions to play the "Matching Game".

16.	Follow the instructions and complete the "Matching Game".

How to Teach your Child Phonics

2.	This section of the web site is called Rhyming. Read the instructions on the Rhyming web page.
3.	Click the "Speaker" icon to hear the examples of the Teacher's questions and the Child's answers.
4.	When you are done with the Rhyming section, move your Mouse over the Tasks Menu on the Left side of the web page.
5.	Click the next section: Clapping.
6.	Read the instructions for the Clapping section, and complete the tasks.
7.	Continue to the next sections in the Tasks Menu: Isolation Blending Segmentation Deletion Substitution
8.	Read the instructions on each web page and complete the tasks in each section.
